I'm stoked. I love a good ESB and I dig Category 12 brewing so I have high expectations. Pouring a light Copper brown with a a quickly reducing head that falls right to where it should, a thin lacing layer. So far so good. Aromas are right on as far as I am concerned. Caramel, light grain, slight bread and a hops bitter scent. All perfectly balanced and in proportion. Still 5 x 5. Flavour is smashing. Caramel, bread, dough, a mild hint of vanilla, toffee, and some minor roasty suggestion. Hopped just right. 👏👏👏🍻 I LIKE IT.
