12.0% Imperial Stout
Black Tundra is a new Russian Imperial Stout by Stout specialists Laugar Brewery, in Spain. As an alternative to barrel ageing, the Biscayans have been experimenting with Cedar wood chips to flavour several beers in their ‘Random Series’. Black Tundra is jet black with a dense, brown foam. The wood provides subtle notes of vanilla and tobacco.

Svart som natten och med grova, robusta, rostade toner som fyller munhålan. Riktigt fin imp. Stout som inte försöker ta ut svängarna. Går att småsippa på länge.

Bonne bière mais la présence de l'alcool est trop présente. Elle manque de finesse mais le côté pétrole est bien présent !

Paluu arkeen ja koulukone auki. Kaljaa lasiin tietysti samalla 🍺 Oikein kiva pehmeän vaniljainen ja tonkainen stoutti makealla suklaisuudella höystettynä. Sopivan makea omaan makuun, menisi hyvin esim. jälkkärinä. Ihan kohtuullinen panimo kyllä tämä Laugarkin 🍻

Très bonne RIS, beaucoup de corps, une belle consistance pétroleuse comme j'aime. Manque tout de même un peu de subtilité !
