Our 18th Vintage Ale uses three of the year's finest hop varieties from both sides of the Atlantic. Goldings from England give subtle bitterness, whilst American varieties Liberty and Cascade are used in dry hopping to give a zesty, grapefruit aroma.

Heti ensimmäiseksi täytyy sanoa että en tiedä onko tämä sallittua täällä?
En siis ole juonut tätä olutta….vielä. This is my ”precious”.
Käyn aina välillä hiplaamassa tätä salaa kenenkään näkemättä.
Mutta nyt alkaa olla kohta se aika jolloin päätöksiä täytyy tehdä. Takana lukee ”best before end 2024”.
Juonko vai enkö?

Here’s a 7-year old from the depths of my cellar.
BEER: Vintage Ale (2014)
BREWERY: Fuller’s Brewery
BEER STYLE: Old Ale (Bottle Conditioned Ale)
COUNTRY: England
ABV.: 8.5%
COLOUR (EBC): Burgundy Red (64.0)
BITTERS (EBU/IBU): 40.0
AROMA: Bready, malty, figs and plums.
HEAD: Creamy and tight. Two finger tall, slightly tan colored.
GREY’S VIEW
Goldings hopped, Liberty & Cascade dry hopped Old Ale w/ Pale & Crystal Malts.
Mouthfeel is exciting. Carbonation still being somewhat bouncy and agile with medium-ish body around them. It has good spark to it.
Taste offers wetty drybread, raisins, caramels, shovel loads of malts with the slightest feel of dark berries there too. It has surprizingly easy profile with top drinkability. Somehow I get delicate notes of port wine characteristics there too. It’s intresting to follow how it grows and evolves with air and more warmth. Aftertaste has oddly refreshing elements there too, hard to detect what exactly, but something light and fresh anyway.
OTHER NOTES:
Solid spokesman of the style. Really lovely to enjoy this.

Full-bodied strong ale. Malt, dark bread, dried fruits, portwine, raisins, plum and citrus aromas.
