Translucent amber beer with standard decent carbonation offers weak, cream-tinted, normal head. The foam descends to frazil-icy lacing and thin lace ring after some tome. Nose is mild fruity hoppy with faint piney twist and a tad weedy note. A remote hint of caramel lingers to the nostrils. The taste is mild-crisp, nicely hoppy for a lager. Is this actually an IPL? Good unfruity grapefruit, lemon peel, lime, a distant piney note and faint resin whirl in mouth. Light-medium body. Ends with somewhat more bitter, crisper hoppy aftertaste. Hoppiness portrays distinct piney, citrus peel and light-resinous nuances. The aftertaste is felt relatively long on tongue. Mouthfeel is light-crisp, slightly coniferous, a bit dry, fresh and summery. Maybe also a little tropical. A very quaffable beer, though not a typical lager.
