Betyár Király
7.0% Flavoured Stout / Pastry Stout
The specific taste of this stout, which also contains two kinds of real fruits – cherries and plums, has a definite effect on the senses already at the first tasting. This foreign stout’s malt character and wooden barrel flavor are perfectly balanced by the aromas of the fruits.

Very interesting flavour. I get the plum and cherry flavour added to the unmistakable stout taste but it also leaves a very slight caramel aftertaste. All in all a very tasty beer and definitely not what I expected as I wasn’t sure about fruit on a stout base. Another one please ☝️🍻

Delicious beer with lots of caramel and summer fruits hints. It pairs great cheese and cakes

Stunning beer. Take Titanic plum porter and multiply it tenfold, it’s that good... Forest fruits on the nose... Low carbonation which complements this beer so well. It’s all about the fruitiness. Plenty of tartness and some sour notes. It’s a stout mixed with a homemade fruitcake or a chutney, lumps and all... Heavy dark beer that is so so so fucking good! It would complement a sharp cheddar very well

A rich, caramel flavored dark bock beer. Nothing particularly special about it, but it goes down very smooth.

Murky, very dark deep brown beer with moderate carbonation resembles strong black coffee. The head colors light fawn, portrays the texture of whipped cream and rises two fingers tall. Nose is fascinating, unique and somewhat weird: a hefty amalgamation of sour cherry and overripe plum, brings an aroma of Bulgarian dark chocolate coated fruit jam confectionery in mind. This is really Iron Curtain stuff! The taste neatly merges medium-sour and somewhat sweet hemipheres into one, complicated, even confusing universe. This taste can, for good reason, be described as 'dark'. The fruitiness is really heavy and odd. Plum and sour cherry are easily identifiable. Sweeter cherry follows and is accompanied by blackberry. The palate has some portwine-type, even liqueur-like elements. The body is full. This unique beer ends with soft dark overripe plum, a hint of dark chocolate, a tad cherry, faint syrupy drycake and homemade plum wine. Mouthfeel is full, heavy, jammy, sappy, mouth-coating and lip-glueing. It's also demanding, dark and complex. Overwhelming and strange, as well.
