I don't know how I really feel about this beer. The aromas are of ample Earl Gray Tea, Sweet vanilla, light orange sweet orange peel, almond, and biscuit. It gives me hope of a nice brew because it really is a pleasant smell. Not very beer like but nice. Sweet flowery perfume. The color is also nice for the style, a light hazy golden straw. Good two finger head that vanishes completely. At the beginning of the sip it starts out with a great tea, sweet mild orange, and baking bread. But that's where it goes odd for me. The sweetness and orange notes dissapear and it dries out while the vanilla really sets in leaving an almost silky vanilla almond coating in the mouth. Also a bread dough flavour comes in at the end. There is a cheap cookie aftertaste. Honestly, and it's only my opinion, if the vanilla was cut back by 1/2 or 2/3, this would be very nice. Yesterday I dumped half a glass, and would have rated this 1 star but on further sampling, I finished this one and will give it 2 1/2🌟 EDIT: I just can't do it. Taking back half a star.
