Clear, deep dark beer with visible ruby tint, resembles black Lipton tea. Lays modest, off-white head. Nose has faint grapefruit and a caramelly note. Tastes hoppy with caramelly nuance and faint syrup. The medium-bodied beer ends with piney, grassy and somewhat resinous aftertaste in which caramel accompanies. Mouthfeel is medium-crisp, juicy and unchallenging.
