Definitely a big, juicy, tropical, citrus, punch in the face! Wow, such intence favor. I have never had anything that tastes quite like this brew. It's delicious!
I havent really liked hoppy beers yet, but this changes everything.
So. not. bitter.
The only bitterness is at the end of the sip(mouthfull) in a dry way that perfectly balances out the intensity.
This would be a party time beer for me I think.Haha!
Yum yum- thanks Gord for yet again exploding my flavor world!
Cheers everyone!

As was expected this ipa has a pretty large tropical fruit and citrus nose. Orange, mango, pineapple, papaya, and citrus are the main aromas but I also notice a cookie dough, biscuit malt and possibly.a mild hint of banana.
It is well carbonated but doesn't keep a head for more than a few minutes and is slightly hazy. Even with the carbonation it feels a little soft in the mouth.
The citrus and grapefruit is center stage with tropicals as a second act. There is some grapefruit and citrus rind tartness but it doesn't seem very bitter at all. They list 45 IBU and I think that seems right. As it warms, the tartness does convert a bitintona more traditional bitterness but not fully or strongly. You can taste the malt offerings which is a nice touch. They are pleasant.
Really enjoying these modern juicy IPAs.
