For a brown ale this is quite different. 1st, I poured heavy & still did not get much of head. It has a burnt roasted malt taste with a little bit of a nutty taste Also has a bittersweet dark chocolate taste that seems to be more from the hops. The further I get into it I pick up a hint of dark fruit. The taste seems to change the longer you drink it. Unfortunately I'm almost done
