I'd passed by many times thinking it might be to weird.
I'm glad I took the chance. Life lesson, leave no beer unsampled.
Standard looks with a nice golden hue and foamy white head. Well carbonated so be careful on the pour.
Head retention is good and displays nice lacing.
Aromatically invigorating, with the lime not being subtle at all. Lots of groovy juicy notes from the hops seem to include mango, peach, passionfruit and pine.
It boast a creamy medium body, and has quite a lot going.on.in the flavour profile.
It's starts with a zesty lime, slightly tart that is enhanced a be resinous hops that help it stick to your tongue. The pine also exacerbates this tangy sensation. Some of the other fruit notes take hold but quickly give way to a second coming of lime and pine. It struggles between being tart and sweet. The sweetness is present throughout and helps gives support to a creamy feel. There seems to be a bit of bread or cracker in the back ground but it's overshadowed by the spectacle of lime and hops.
Fresh, funky and lively, this is an interesting brew.
