Toll gestaltetes Etikett. Im Glas trübes helles gelb. In der Nase Gras und Hopfen. Frischer Antrunk mit guter Rezenz. Im Abgang eine knackige bittere die Stellenweise etwas spitz ist.

Hoppy and nice refreshing taste. Pours golden, nice white top that settles low, smells of hop and has hoppy aroma. Goes down easily. A first from Ukraine, the story is about an ukranian military fighter who dissapeared in WW2, to be later found in Canada as a leader of canadian mohawk indians and got the name of Chief Poking Fire, hence the name of the beer.

Das ukrainische Chief Chief Poking Fire kommt strohgolden ins Glas. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein belgisch inspiriertes Session Pale Ale. Kaltopfung ist am Start und entfaltet eine leicht säuerliche Maracujanote. Das Ale wirkt äusserst frisch und juicy. Sehr einladend. In der Tat kommt das Ale sehr erfrischend und schlank daher mit toller, nicht übertrieben Kalthopfung mit juicyger Zitrusfrucht und Maracuja. Keine Spur von Wässrigkeit. Hier stimmt alles. Sogar die Hopfenbittere, mit 50 IBU (fühlt sich schwächer an) recht kräftig, wirkt doch harmonisch eingebettet. Hinten raus dann, kommt noch etwas grasig-kräuteriges hinzu und lässt das Ale lange ausklingen. Ganz tolles "Leichtbier"!
