Expertly crafted using only the finest British ingredients and time. The combination of four classic malts and a generous helping of fuggles in the copper creates a dark beer with a complexity of rich malty flavours. Each brew is cold stored and left to mature for two months resulting in a truly malty almost velvet chocolate taste.

Proper old ale!! Nice with a beautiful balance of malts with a Guinness flavour to it but dare I say better tasting... but with much more rocket fuel than Guinness. Great ale!

I didn't expect to like this much as it is 7.2% abv. But this is a good drink. Full of deep malty flavours and nowhere near as sweet as expected. A bit like a rocket-powered Guinness without the creamy head. Comes in a small bottle, but I don't reckon you'd drink too many of these anyway. Not session fodder.
