Pleasant old ale. Initially fruity but with a dark malt finish with some astringency. Strong and dark, rich and full-bodied to keep out the winter chill. This luscious dark brown ale with ruby hues uses dark crystal malt, chocolate malt, oat malt and roasted barley in the grist whilst English hops balance out the sweetish finish.
