Wells IPA 5.0%, Eagle Brewery (formerly Charles Wells), England
20 ratings
3.3
Wells IPA
5.0% India Pale Ale
The leading imported IPA into Canada. Brewed in the Heart of England, Wells IPA (abv: 5%) is brewed using the finest hops and barley malt. Like all Wells and Young’s beers, it is brewed using natural mineral water from an independently accredited source; our own well. Our master brewers take immeasurable pride in combining the finest quality ingredients. This delivers a beer with real credentials, consistency and subtlety that Wells IPA drinkers know and trust. Light amber in colour with a toasty, grainy, hoppy aroma, smooth Smokey flavour and with a dry hop finish that is emphasised by a rich head.

Dark colour but fairly mild taste. Good to pair with goldfish crackers and Friday night baseball

Doesn’t really taste like an IPA. Subtle is a good word. Not too strong. But good enough! Doesn’t taste bad~

Very light. Barely tastes like an IPA. More like an amber lager.

Correct Ipa, quite fruity. Good bitternett very persistent. Charlie wells beers are ok, not a big surprise but still good pub beers.
