The last pilsner I had was mediocre so let's see if this can do better.
Colour is a pleasing slightly hazy straw. The white head is active and frothy but not long lived fading to a very thin layer that stayed for the whole drink.
Hops is the the dominant nose with a mostly traditional aroma with a very slight floral citrus. The pale malts bring bread, biscuit, and cracker. It definitely smells of a quality pilsner.
Mmmmmm tasty.
Has everything a pilsner should. The only difference is instead of that nice spicy hop like saaz, it is ever so slightly floral and citrus, but just barely. A very solid offering.
Crisp, light, very well balanced with just a wee little bitterness at the end if the sip that lingers perfectly.
Well done and though it's not needed, bonus points for a successful minor deviation with the citra hops.
