Das Black Gold ist erwartbar blickdicht schwarz; die Blume ist ausdauernd. Es riecht sehr süß-malzig. Im Antrunk ist es dann aber sofort röstig. Die Lactose macht sich erst mit der Zeit bemerkbar und steuert eine leichte Süße bei. Das Ende ist dann staubtrocken. Die Tradition des Traditionell Scottish Milk Stout in Ehren, aber Stout und ich finden auch bei diesem nicht so recht zueinander.
