Brewed in collaboration with our friends from Elusive Brewing. We've wanted to brew with Andy since meeting him last year at GBBF and finally got round to inviting him over to brew after a 'few beers' at this year's beer festival. For the brew we mulled over a few ideas that would be a riff on an IPA but finally settled on an oxymoronic beer style that we both love, the black IPA. Dark malt and intense hop flavours run amok in this beer. We combined the woodsy/liquorice qualities of the Columbus hops with the overtly fruit forward nature of Citrus and Masaic to make this beer taste like something you'd pick up in an old fashioned sweet shop. Unfined, unfiltered, unpasteurised natural beer. Suitable for vegans.
