Outstanding beer. Moderate roasty and coffee notes (subtle) and the fruity mosaic and blueberry punch through. Such a delicious beer. Great mouth feel. Easy drinking for such a strong abv.

Tonight has been a winner. Left Handed Giant tap room - then The Sally with Beavertown Lupaloid on keg. Now I’m back at home listening to You Only Live Twice after Mrs B and I have had a few turns around the kitchen. Blue Falcon is a collaboration with the tattoo artist James Butler. It’s described as a Blueberry and Mosaic IPA. I think it tastes of gently burnt toast with jammy fruit lathered on top. The hops are dark and break through at the end with gentle bitter landing. It’s a full in the mouth beer with plenty of froth and heft on the palate. Yet another interesting experiment from the excellent Northern Monk.

Delicieux

Mukavan mustikkainen, vaniljainen ja paahteinen. Mustikkaisen marjaisa kärki, pieni hapokkuus, miedosti humalaa ja kuivaa raakasuklaata. Tässäpä paras musta IPA ikinä (omaan makuun)! Ei kikkaile tuskaisella humaloinnilla, tai palaneella maltaalla, vaan tuo esiin Mosaicin ja mustikan liiton mahtavalla tavalla! Ja tölkki on ehdottomasti yksi komeimpia ikinä! 

Todella miellyttävä tuoksu, jossa koivunlehtiä(!), mangoa, sitrusta, dankkia ja hieman mustikkaakin! Makupuolella samat havainnot, pienellä savuisella suklaisuudella ja makeudella ryyditettynä! Katkeroa melko kesysti ja väriä lukuunottamatta melko NE-henkistä meininkiä! Aivan loistava balanssi ja helposti paras Black IPA mitä olen kuunaan juonut!
