Sharp aftertaste

Did the job after walking in the snowy Lakeland fells.

Probably one of the first real ales I ever had. Produced in the tiny Barngates brewery out the back of the great Drunken Duck inn just outside of Ambleside. All their ales used to be named after old dogs of which Tag Lag was one. It was a long long time ago, the branding has changed and so has my palette, as it now just tastes of hops and not much else. Extra half star for nostalgia!!
