A golden, premium beer with a smooth, malty background, rich and fruity hop flavours and a refreshing finish. First brewed in 1996 in honour of William John “Bishop Bill” Westwood on his retirement as Bishop of Peterborough. Bishops Farewell pioneered the use of the USA sourced Cascade hop – the variety that launched the craft beer revolution.

Cascade hops give a citrus fruit flavour & the pale malts produce a bright golden tinge & a sweet background

I forgot that I'd already tried this one, but here goes. It's still a decent drink with a nice fruity aroma and a slight citrusy note. It has a similar taste, but with a subtle hoppiness mixed in. There is a slight tartness leading to a subtle bitterness to finish. It's an enjoyable drink and a good session ale, even at the ABV. I fear that it’s going to be a day of retries again. I marked it down as not being as creamy as before.
