A nice copper gold that produces a loose fluffy white head that fades quickly and leaves a little trace of lacing. This season sports aromas of well.... saison yeast, citrus, and a grassy spicy hops scent. Possibly some apricot, and banana. Flavours I'm picking up are a nice sweet caramel, alcohol, a tart citrus, fruity yeast esters and possibly spiciness but that may come from the hops. It's sweet at first sip but finishes fast and dry with a slight bitter/tartness. Usually I think of saisons in the summer but this is a nice shoulder season saison. I like it. Also it made a great reduction glaze sauce for some prawns I cooked up.
