Beer number six in Clown Shoes 12 Beers of Christmas. A Duo of course. Medium size head, frothy. Aroma has grapefruit and a very faint background of mango. Light haze, medium yellow color with a little orange in the middle. Thin, crisp texture. Perfect for a hot summer day. Citrusy. I get grapefruit immediately, the mango is there but in the background. Hop bitterness is present but in a mild Clown Shoes manner. As it crosses into the finish, only a mild bitterness remains. The citrus flavor evaporates causing you to search for it on the next mouthful. For me, a non-IPA lover, this is another unique Clown Shoes beer. I'd be happy to take a six pack down to the river and enjoy these. Mild bitterness is the key. You can have a good IPA without it tasting like salt water.

Pretty decent, tastes a bit strong/serious. Not bad though.
