Smooth flavour with a light hint of smoke. I taste both hazelnut and vanilla with a hint of salted toffee.

Black as night with the ever the tiniest bit of red. In the nose it promises roasty chocolate, coffee, and dark malt. The flavour is very roasty and more coffee than chocolate. I have a hard time picking out what the salt does, but I still like it a lot. * later... As I get to know it, the salt does present a bit and more chocolate with some caramel comes into the scene. I sure do love me some Steamworks.
