Mousse marron assez dense. Au nez, petit côté liqueur et quelques effluves de sirop d'érable. En bouche les 12% d'alcool se font bien sentir, on dirait une petite liqueur. Le côté sirop d'érable est très (trop) discret. Ça devient plus léger au fur et à mesure... Bon impérial stout pour les adeptes du style.

It pours black with a light brown head. Aroma is of black treacle with hints of roasted malts. Flavour is of black treacle, roasted malts, hints of chocolate and maple. It has quite a thick mouthfeel. a decadent sipper of a beer.

Thick and oily with flavours of caramel, and burnt treacle, this is a serious Imperial. I shared this bottle and I’m glad as it’s a bit much to be honest. I would have liked it to have been a bit sweeter as the burnt bitter flavour is very overpowering. Smells great though!
