Murky black beer flows from tap. Thin, light fawn, soapy head forms on top for a medium duration. Nose has very thin bitter coffee and some ashtray, accompanied by remote orange. The palate has slightly sour lemon and orange, deep roasted malt, bitter coffee and raw cocoa nibs. Light body. Finishes with bitter roasted dark malt, raw cocoa beans and a bit of licorice, lingers for medium to long duration. Mouthfeel is light, a bit watery, roasted, slightly ashy, medium crisp and flat as this is a real ale.
