As the new Head Brewer, this 2017 edition of Vintage Ale champions a new American hop variety Denali, used to give the beer a citrusy, pine-like flavour and a new British malt variety Laureate. Combined with trusty British hops Target and Goldings, our 21st Vintage Ale is a well-rounded and balanced beer with Fullers yeast adding the orange, marmalade characters to it.

Taas yksi loistava Fullersin vuosikerta-ale. Tässä(kin) kaikki juuri kohdillaan. Prosentit vain korostavat oluen täydellisyyttä. Makeutta runsaasti, muttei tippaakaan liikaa.

Joulun kunniaksi kinkunpaiston ohessa maisteltu. Hyvää oli vaikka ollut kaapissa jo todella monta vuotta.

Todella miellyttävä karamellinen, rusinainen, pehmeä tuoksu.
Todella pehmeä, vahvan rusinainen, käytännössä hapoton, kevyen alkoholinen olut.
Muuten todella hyvä tuote tälle ikää, mutta happojen puute vähän latistaa.

5 years in storage. Fruity ale. Dried fruits, apricot, bread and orange aromas. Some caramel in finish. Not so full-bodied as my previous Fuller’s 2021 was today. I could even say this was a little bit watery.

Vuosikerta 2018. Yllättävän hyvin kestänyt säilytystä huoneenlämmössä, juotu nyt 2022. Edelleen pehmeä, paahteinen ja maltainen, jopa aavistuksen brandymainen.
