Decent mild, dark roasted malts and mellow hints of chocolate. Goes down a treat.

Now then.
I'm a bitter man.
As in I like it malty not so much I've been hard done too.
This, served here is without a doubt superb.
Smoky yet refreshing, a proper drop of beer.
No hint of grapefruits or lemons. Good old fashioned ale!

Authentic Victorian pub now owned by a cooperative of local customers. Get free range eggs at the bar with your pint, local folk jam night when we were in last night. Heavy light/golden ale bar offerings but won’t hold that against them. Had a nice mild in the form of Dark Masquerade. Light, nutty and slightly creamy, very quaffable, as it should be!
