An outrageous pour as you can see, the can is still half full! The beer was so foamy when it came out that it resembled clear, sparkling water but once the body formed, it took on its semi transparent, straw yellow colour with snow white foam. Scent is almost entirely citrus zest and cereal malts, almost like a weiss without the sour notes . In the mouth it is smooth and bordering on flat. There is a little crispness at first but it's as though because the foam has risen to the top, none has remained below the line. The taste is citrusey, lemon and lime, a slight green apple element and the malts too. To be honest there is a slightly medicinal taste to it. Not bad but not great.

Punch? Hooligans? Oha? Mal sehen, ob es hier auf die Fresse gibt - Summer Punch von Hop Hooligans aus 🇷🇴 stellt sich heute im Glas vor. In Sachen Outfit kleidet sich das American Pale Ale Zitronengelb und richtig thick. Oben gibt's eine gehörige Portion weißen Schaum auf die Krone. Von dem 5%-er gibt es dann gehörig erfrischende Citrus-Schläge auf die Nase. Wohltuende, im Übrigen. Dazu liegt auch ein Hauch von Tropic-Frucht in der Luft. Auch am Gaumen teilt das Summer Punch gut aus: zesty Citrus mit einem echten Frische-Kick, bissl Maracuja als Gaumen-Balsam und eine fruchtige Hoppiness mit Wiederhaken, die nur den kleinen Haken hat, dass sie ihr Potenzial nicht ganz ausreizt. So geht das schon als Match durch, nur dass das Summer Punch unterm Strich etwas zu schwach auf der Brust ist. Kein Schluck Wasser, aber auch kein Volltreffer. 🍻

Kepeä ja hedelmäinen Apa. Kaipaisi kesäruokaa grillistä seurakseen. Havuisuutta voisi olla enemmänkin.
