An authentic Porter stout with undertones of coffee and chocolate. Pale, crystal and black malt sugars are balanced by the bitterness of Fuggles and Goldings aroma hops to create this fresh, dry beer.

A rich dark stout with plenty of coffee and chocolate flavours. Not as heavy as some stouts though, which is a good thing for me. A great pint from my favourite brewery.

It is what it is. It’s got an aroma of burnt chocolate, it is a stout after all. Dark as night, and with a hint of coffee and a long lingering malty finish. It’s not as full in the mouth as some stouts but it’s not a bad drop.

A delicious Porter Stout, with an enticing thick darkness. This is the right side of bitter. I would overall describe it as a smooth, soft Stout, robust and thick but beautifully drinkable. After a disappointment with another Stout (which I had to pour away - which I NEVER do) this was just what I needed.
