A deliciously robust blend lovingly produced using barley from selected farms, including an English variety first used in 1905 named Plumage Archer, now grown at HRH Prince Of Wales Home Farm at Highgrove. Rich, with balanced bitterness.

A light mixture of tastes with a hint of malt so not overpowering. Decent after taste. Not overstated so leaves you satisfied but not overly impressed.

Deep ruby coloured beer. Quite fruity. Brewed exclusively for Waitrose Supermarkets by Wychwood. Might explain its similarities to Hobgoblin in some respects.
