Some dessert after the brunch. Black substance with a nice brown head. Roasted malts, coffee, liquorice and chocolate. Quite thin mouthfeel which is a bit of a disappointment since this is BA. Distinctive Bourbon though.

Oaky barrel scent. Flavour is roasty, caramel bourbon, bitter coffee and chocolate. Finish is especially chocolate oat cookies delicious which sticks into mouth and tongue. Super delicious! Always count on the froggies!

Barrel Aged Advent Calendar Day #19 Whiskey, chocolate, a little bit of coffee and oak in the aroma. Taste has whiskey, chocolate, dark fruits, coffee notes and oak, just like the aroma. The body is full, the mouthfeel is smooth and it has an appropriately low amount of carbonation. Nice complexity while still being very well balanced. Booze is not overwhelming, which is always a plus. An amazing stout that I wish was at a more attractive price point. $9 for a 12 oz. bottle keeps me from enjoying this one more often. Solid 4.75/5

Vähäinen, nopeasti katoava vaahto. Tuoksu on Bourbon tunnyrinen, kevyen paahteinen ja aavistuksen sitruksinen. Maku makeahko, Bourbon tynnyriä,paahteisuutta ja kahvia. Humalointi tulee ensin mukavana kirpeytenä muiden makujen aikana vaihtuen jälkimaussa pieneksi kitkeryydeksi.

Barrel Aged Advent Calendar beer Day #4 Nice! One of my absolute favorite stouts. Bourbon, chocolate, dark fruits and oak in the aroma. Taste has bourbon, oak, chocolate and dark fruits (raisins mostly). Smooth mouthfeel, thick full body and carbonation is appropriately lower. Just like before, 5/5

Beer rating number 1000!!! Bottle. Best before 31.12.2020 Temperature: +10 C Thick as hell when poured. Black in color. Very little head that doesn't last very long, but condenses on the edges where it seems to stay forever. Thick texture: 3,5/5 Ah, roasted coffee, chocolate and a hint of dark fruits notes are in perfect harmony with the elegant notes of bourbon and oak. Extremely well barrel-aged: 4,75/5 Mouthfeel is full, round, low carbonation and fine bourbon-like warming touch. At the ends comes the oak wood touch. Complex and generous: 4,75/5 Taste also has that absolutely beautiful bourbon and oak touch plus some savory vibe merging together with the roasted, coffee, chocolate and slightly sweet flavors. The balance of the taste is just brilliant. Not too sweet, not too roasty, not too much nor too little barrel...awesome. Complex and multilayered. Aftertaste is also very complex. That's something you see less often: starts as a sweet, then comes the oak barrel and then it takes another turn to savory: 13,75/15 Such a high-level beer! That said, I'm not rising to heaven when I drink this. This is good... Not only good, excellent! But not the best. But one thing I can't praise enough is the barrel aging. This might be the most beautifully BA beers I've ever had. So complex and it's clearly there but it doesn't take control over the beer. Gorgeous beer, totally worth all the money and a nice beer to have as the 1000th unique beer in Pint Please: 18/20 =44,75/50

Aivan huikean hyvä ba imp. Todella stydi. Tuhti. Paksu. Tynnyri tulee hienosti. Loistava olut.

Ystävällä kylässä käymässä mukaan tarttui D.O.R.I.S the destroyer BA😎 Tuoksussa havaittavissa jotain tumman marjaisaa,whiskiä sekä suklaata.(ruista) Maku antaa mukavasti pehmeää tynnyriä sopivassa määrin whiskyn kanssa.Tummaa suklaata ja kevyttä paahteisuuttakin esiinty vaniljan kanssa hyvin yhteen soljuvasti.😋 Todella laadukkaan makuista/oloista Ba Imp Stoutia mistä ei löydy oikeen mitään moitittavaa.Tosin jotain pientä 👊🏻 eksotiikka jäin jotenkin kaipaamaan. 😎

Mun ensimmäinen Hoppin’ Frog. 4.27 Untappd. Saman iltana nautitun Ten Fidy BAn ja Taanilinnan jälkeen on vaikeaa löytää mitään uutta. Tynnyriä löytyy ja paljon. Ihanan kahvinen ja suklainen. Kitkerä. Alkoholia löytyy myös ja sen huomaa. Loistava imppi, mutta jää hieman jälkeen muille tämän illan oluille. 4.2/5.
