Despite how it looks with the head, this poured really well, leaving a nice dark yellow body with an almost brown hue and we'll retained head. Scents of wheat, clove and coriander seed at the start shift into mild banana atop a sickly sweet toffee note. The mouthfeel is a little loose, only mildly foamy, not as robust as I would have expected from it's appearance. Settles quickly and some trace carbonation can be felt on the tongue at the end. Taste is surprisingly sweet, like there is a dollop of honey mixed with the wheat. The toffee is gone but the mild banana remains and carries to the final clove note that lingers through the aftertaste. Maybe not the best weiss on the market but they wouldn't be my favourite style so I'm probably not the best judge. But it is a little unique so I would recommend everyone try it.
