This beer is dark strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Goldings hops and natural plum flavouring. Take the opportunity and go for the low hanging fruit, this sumptuous beer really is a plum!

Not my usual ‘go to’ style of beer, but it’s actually ok. Deep malty flavour with lingering hoppy bitterness, and not too heavy. I find the plum flavours very subtle, almost unnoticeable!

The plum is noticeable, and not bad. But maybe a bit flat otherwise as a Porter for me

It's still a decent drink with a nice fruity aroma. It has a fruity taste with a subtle maltiness thrown in the mix. Definitely, there is a plum aroma and taste leading to a subtle sweet finish, but with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Overall, it's an enjoyable drink and a good session ale.

In my opinion a genius brew. I will get the grand reserve to rate soon as that’s even better. But this delicious session porter is like having a Xmas fruitcake stuffed in your pint. It is full of those festive deep plum flavours, perfect pint to start my Xmas eve off.
