Nice pint ! Nothing to write home about but very easy & nice tasting. A full malty flavoured beer with a strong fruity hop aftertaste.

A Wetherspoons guest ale. Typical English bitter, dark amber with hidden fruity undertones, best served at room temperature in a smoky snug. But that was yesteryear. Must have had the chiller set to "Bud Lite"sub cryogenic level, it was so cold, at one point I thought I had suffered a stroke. Tim Martin, love or loathe him, he can bang out beer like this for less than 3 quid. Can't really knock the value, especially as it was steak night too. Plus as an added bonus, a fight broke out downstairs. Probably someone kicking off about the Carling being rammy...as if you can tell. Spoons, I love it me.
