Rousal pils sellaisenaan on yksi omista suosikeistani kotimaisista oluista. Tämä ei kyllä yllä lähellekään samaa taosa. Happamuutta tästä kyllä löytyy hauskalla tavalla ja ihan mukava, että rajoja hieman venytetään!

This beer is a special edition of Rousal Pils. This "Pils on Acid" version has been flavored with Brettanomyces yeast and the brewery's own bread starter dough.
Interesting to taste if there's any difference to the regular version.
The beer pours semifoggy, amber, distantly milk-hued. Weak, off-white, tiny-bubbled head dissipates soon. Now, the difference from the regular version comes into the picture in scent: otherwise thin scent with a slightly sour, lemony and a bit vinous nuance.
The palate is recognizeably sour, yet somewhat mild. Bitter lemon, green currants and restrained passionfruit with a sour yeasty note. Dry white winey character. The body is fairly skinny. The beer ends with strongly sour lemon and green currants. The aftertaste lingers in mouth for a long time.
Mouthfeel is light, tart, a bit vinous and somewhat gardeny.
This edition is also confusing as it declares to be a Pilsener but tastes like a somewhat watered-down Sour Ale. A decent beer though.
