I had this beer before but it was in 2022 and it was on draft. Gave it a really good rating back then so I hope it stands up. Fluffy head, dying down quickly. Color is not totally opaque. Has a muddy dark mahogany color that does let some light through. Aroma has raisins and bourbon. First taste reveals the bourbon, strong malt, again some raisins, trace amounts of burnt caramel and perhaps some bread in the background. Later I get a few breaths of chocolate. Not picking up on the sea salt. Did not get the 9.5% alcohol at first but as it warmed it's definitely there. Still like this beer a lot and not changing it's good rating.

Aroma: The bourbon is the most prominent aroma. Some caramel actually comes thru. Taste: Light roast with the somewhat boozy bourbon makes it a bit thin. Would need some more caramel and body. There’s like a nutty aftertaste. No off flavors, but a bit boring for a bourbon barrel aged beer.
