Brewed with well water (the original well at the Old Brewery, sunk in 1758, is still in use, with the hard well water being drawn from 85 feet underground); best barley malt, yeast and aromatic hops; fermented in 'stone Yorkshire squares' to create a relatively dry ale with rich nutty colour and plate of beech nuts, almonds and walnuts.

Espuma intensa color crema , color caoba clara, sabor muy equilibrado y maltoso, con notas distintivas a frutos secos, caramelo y un poco a café En boca es muy suave y muy redonda, esta muy buena, con amargor bajo.

Samuel Smith‘s - Nut Brown Ale Optik: Bräunlich mit rotem Schimmer, nahezu klar, sehr feine und hoch ausgeprägte sowie standfeste Schaumkrone Duft: Malzig, karamellig, insgesamt süß, nach Nougat und tatsächlich auch etwas nach Nüssen Geschmack: Sämig im Trunk, deutlich dunkelmalzig, mit vordergründigen Röstaromen. Im Nachtunk kommt dann auch ein gewisses Aroma von Walnüssen durch, obwohl laut Zutatenliste keine Nüsse enthalten sind. Durchaus ein nettes Ale, welches aber nicht ganz so begeistert wie das Organic Chocolate Stout aus selbiger Braustätte. MHD 31.05.2025
