Nightmare Porter 5.0%, Hambleton Ales / Brewery, England

Nightmare Porter
5.0% Porter
This is an extra stout porter but unlike many stouts, Nightmare is not harsh or overly bitter. This smooth, massively flavoured creamy drink is best served on the ‘warm’ side, allowing full appreciation of this four malt brew. Strong malts dominate, but hoppiness rears out of this complex blend. Nightmare has won the Gold Award at SIBA (North) Festival in 1999, 2003 and 2006 . This award winning dark mahogany porter has roasted coffee in its aroma, leading to hints of chocolate and liquorice, a notable hop presence and a complex character.
