Aged in oak casks for a magnificently deep, rich flavour, bursts of acorn and sweet vanilla navigate the palate. Subtle and sturdy.

drinkable, not entirely tasteless, and would have again but nothing special i’m afraid ... let me now
correct myself: as it warmed up a little, the advertised flavours came out to play. i actually quite like this!

Quite sweet and surprisingly unhoppy in this day and age. Didn’t get any vanilla, nor the warming whisky aftertaste but a relatively nice ale.
