I wanted to love this as I'm a big fan of Marble. It's just a bit too weird to love ☹️ no doubt it's a clever brew which is salty and creamy (sort of like a langoustine). It also has a slight sweet edge with pineapple and a prawn cracker taste. The smell has some slight crab meat too I think. All of this is great but in a beer it's just too challenging. I was quite happy to begin with but once the novelty wore off it was a bit much. Breweries that take this kind of beer on I don't doubt find gems and they should be applauded for their efforts. Marble make some genuinely outstanding beers, this is just not one of them, or not yet a perfected recipe perhaps???

This has to be the most intriguing flavour combination and beer description I have come across to date. However... it is not good. Nowhere near sour enough. Pleasant in the mouth but terrible after taste. The after taste just gets worse the longer you leave between mouthfuls - it's the taste equivalent of smelling a dirty beach. Avoid.
