Monks Brew 1127 is brewed with a traditional blend of malts to give a dark wonderfully malty flavour with great depth. A Belgian style yeast is used, along with a low hopping rate to match brewing practices in the medieval period. Juniper and a secret blend of herbs and spices are added to give the beer a slight bitterness and a subtle complex flavour.
