7.4% India Pale Ale

A juicy IPA. Pirates love citrus fruits almost as much as they love blood. If the phrase “you are what you eat” is true, then pirates are blood oranges. If the phrase “you are what you drink” is true, you’re about to be an incredibly delicious, juicy hop bomb of an IPA. We add bits of real blood orange to every beer, so you know it’s good.

This was a waste of $3. Only a 12 oz can so was worth a try as I like a good blood an orange IPA. Unfortunately this is not one. This has a caramel malt with some light honey. Has a light blood orange taste. Hoppy bitterness is very light. Malt and hops don’t mesh well. Finishes on the sweet side but the hops do linger a bit. Finishes dry. It just doesn’t cut it if you are looking for a good blood orange IPA. “Plunder by 10/12/25”. Gave it an extra .01 as I thought that was clever. The rest of the beer - blah.
