Plum Porter Grand Reserve
6.5% Porter
Dark strong and we'll rounded , the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of goldings hops and natural plum flavouring.

Very special little number. Being drunk in points in here but would go very well with something sweet. Powerful, complex. Mmmm.

Just like the non-grand reserve version, I highly recommend chilling before pouring. It really brings out the fruit flavours and contrasts beautifully to the dark malts. Lovely!

A rich and fruity smell with fruity plum taste. Although labeled as a porter, this is definitely more of a dark beer with the plum fruity notes. It is bitter in places but is is a bigger surprise than I was expecting and will certainly have this again!
