6% ABV and the name may be a little misleading. It is not heavy on the hops like the current IPA fad. Smokey and earthy with hints of tobacco, it is a well-balanced beer. The mad part comes from the unusual recipe. You would have to be a little crazy to put some of that stuff in an IPA ;)
