Our Pumpkin Porter. We us the base for this beer from Truck Nuts. We then up the amount of grain for a stronger beer. Then we add 50 pounds of pumpkin to the mash, then we roast 50 pounds of butternut and acorn squash with brown sugar, then mash this up and throw it into the boil. At the end of the boil we add pumpkin pie spice sparingly for a nice hint of pumpkin pie. This isn't overly spicy, but the pumpkin comes through in the end.
