Dunkel is short for the German word "Dunkelweizen: which translates to: dark (Dunkel) wheat (Weizen).This is our take on a traditional German style dark wheat ale.  Dunkel is the darkest in color of all of our beers, but it doesn't taste as dark as it looks.  It is very mild and easy to drink despite the dark color.
