English Pale Ales, also called ESB's, are typically darker and a bit sweeter than American Pale Ales. Ours is dark copper in color, dry-hopped to give life to botanical hop aroma with a yeasty undertone and is finished with a malty sweetness. It's a bit stronger than it seems at 6.3% ABV, but very drinkable and, we like to think, it's like most of our beers in being very balanced with a clean finish. This beer tastes great served cold, but its malt flavors deepen with it warms up a bit, just like the heritage of English Pale Ales across the pond.
