Brewed for the holiday season, you may interpret the name in whatever way suits your mood. This extra special ale was brewed with the addition of 100 pounds of Wild Rice.  Wild Rice is not really rice; it is more closely related to grass.  Combined with a variety of malted barley, the wild rice imparts a nutty, earthy flavor and aroma to the beer.  Deep amber in color, medium bodied and lightly hopped to allow for the intriguing complexity of this ale to come through.
