This unique beer was brewed to mimic the Berliner Weiss style of sour beers.  Brewed with only German pilsner malted barley, flaked wheat and malted wheat, the wort was then allowed to sour for 3 days after the addition of live culture yogurt. After 3 days of fermentation with our house yeast we then added 80 pounds of aseptic apricot puree.  The addition of the puree added a subtle aroma of fruit and a more complex tartness to the beer. Crisp and clean this is an easy introduction to the world of sour beers.  PROST!
