For the newest addition to our SMaSH (Single Malt and Single Hop) series, we chose the father of all Northwest hop varieties - Cascade. Although not as blatantly aggressive as some newer varieties, Cascade is to this day the classic American ale hop - spicy and floral, and with grapefruit-like citrus notes.
